Part A: Reflection
In this unit I learned that....there are sweatshops in China and other places in the world and I learned what sweatshops are and how poor conditions the people work in.
I found it really interesting that…companies outsource their jobs to a place like China and that place makes their prducts for them and example of a companie that outsources there jobs is Nike.
I can connect what have learned in class to (another subject) because….in foods class we are on a unit called international cusine and what we have to do is pick a country and cook food from that country and we have to answer qwestions on that country why foods is like social is because we r talking about China in social and China is the country that i pick for foods.
What surprised me this unit was…..how much they use China for everything like for sweatshops and for outsourcing.
One concept that I am still having difficulty with is….. writing qwizes and writing my essays and my blog entry.
One question I still have is…..how too write a perfect essay and a perfect blog entry
One skill or learning strategy I found helpful was…. having the word wall and the countrys on the side board mabe it easy for me to add any words to any of my writings or add any countrys to my writings. Part B: Free Trade
Free Trade is trading between countries with no Tarriffs on the products and no Trade barriers on who you can trade with. The Trade Liberalization can help reduce the barriers of trading the Developed Countries get most of the free trade and the Developing Countries get very little of the free trade.
Part C: Globalization Cartoon

Part D: Globalization Videos
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1TyVyX_vKG0
This video is a negative effect on globalization. This video is about Sub Saharan Africa and how they dont even make a doller a day so that means they dont even have enough for a bag of chips and how they dont even have enough to water, feed and shelter them selfs and how they dont have enough land to have crops to grow food and and not enough markets to sell goods.
Part E: Globalization and Quality of Life
· The connection is between income per person and life expectancy is…..How the countries can grow even if they are at the bottom of the grid.
· Hans Rosling is (pro-globalization/anti-globalization). I know this because in the video…He is pro-globalization because he had nothing bad to say about globalization.
· The most interesting thing I learned was…..how the countries were poor and sick and they became better and better and know they are rich and healthy.
· One things I would like to learn more about it….If all of those countries are still growing bigger and bigger.
